Minerva
IP Television Lab System is a complete end-to-end IP Television
Headend that allows network operators to streamline
and evaluate the complex process of testing and deploying
interactive television services prior to full commercial
deployment. The Minerva IP Television Lab includes all
of the components needed to test your network and to evaluate
a broad range of services prior to full commercial deployment. An
IP Television Headend is the central point of subscriber
management, media aggregation, and distribution of video
services over high-speed broadband IP networks. Minerva
IP Television Lab is a compact IP Television Headend
connected via a broadband network to NTSC or PAL set-top
boxes. This fully integrated solution includes an application
server (running Minerva® iTVManager management software),
a video server, a high-performance 100Base-T Ethernet
switch, and a video acquisition subsystem. Depending on
customers¹ preferences, the video acquisition sub-system
can be configured with either analog MPEG-2 carrier class
encoders or DVB-to-IP demultiplexers for digital turn-around
of satellite signals.
The
Minerva IP Television Lab can be expanded to accommodate
a full IP Television deployment.

BOOK
Minerva ® TVBook is a complete, portable and cost effective
IP Television simulation system that enables testing and
evaluation of advanced television services over any broadband
IP network.
TVBookincludes
Minerva® iTVManager, Minerva's television services management
software, and Kasenna'sMedia Base video server software,
preloaded with two hours of content. Both iTVManager and
Media Base come pre-installed and pre-configured on a
powerful notebook PC weighing less than eight pounds.
TVBook
is designed for broadband network operators, equipment
manufacturers, engineering consulting firms and systems
integrators who need a simple, low-cost solution to evaluate
and demonstrate a variety of IP Television services.This complete headend simulation
system supports the streaming of four channels of programming
to up to five STBs. TVBook can be used to deliver a broad
range of video services including live TV, VOD, NVOD and
PPV. Operators can also evaluate back-office management
functions including subscriber and set-top box management,
